Marvelous Monday

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all doing splendid this fine day. I know I am! The sun's shining, the birds are chirping, and everyone just seems to be in a great mood.

First of all I'd like to thank everyone who commented on my page to wish me a happy birthday! I will respond to each and everyone of you, even if it's just a brief thank you. But I want you all to know that your wishes of happy birthday means a lot. So thank you!
I got to spend the day with my lovely fiance and her amazing family, and the day was just amazing all in all. Sun was out for the most part, the beer was cool and the BBQed chicken was amazing. I also got some apple pie, so the day was pretty damn sweet! 

Second of all I'd like to share a link with you all. It's something I feel very strongly for, and I will actually be visiting this place in the near future to snap a couple of pictures to share and to enjoy it in person.
It's about the Stanley Theater in Central Wisconsin. And they're facing a problem that many of these old family run type theaters will end up facing.
A friend to my soon to be mother in law, and her family, grew up in the family running this place. And just listening to her speak I could tell that not only did the Stanley Theater mean a lot to her, but it also means a lot to the community there.
The fact that they've already gone slightly passed the halfway point in donations, should tell you just how much this place means to some people.
The place has been around for a long long time, and now after 78 years the place might end up going dark. Which if you ask me would be a shame. 
The problem, as far as I understand, is that the movie industry is moving away from 35mm film completely and they now need to upgrade their projector to a digital one. Being a family run, and community oriented, type place they don't make a lot of money. They keep their prices down to make sure everyone who wants to has a chance to enjoy going to the movies. So now they've reached out to people everywhere in hopes of getting the help they need to keep
Now I'm not asking you to donate, I realize that a lot of people can't. And some just won't feel strongly enough about it to do so. But at least head on over to the Kickstarter page and check it out. Maybe share the link if you feel so inclined. 
Anyway, this is just me doing what little I can to help spread the word.

Maybe make a purchase or two. Spend some time talking with them a little. I know it might not seem like much to you, but to them it might just be the spark that keeps them going.
